2021: The Year Renewables “Lost Last Place”
2021 was for me also the year when it became painfully apparent that wind plus solar are sources of highly interruptible energy and that they need constant backup. It was the year when Europeans and North Americans learned again what a blackout is and it’s also the year when a discussion of the true cost of those energy systems has gone mainstream. before, we were a low single-digit percentage part of the population. Now we are many, soon we will be the majority. Every scam eventually blows up. It’s only a matter of time.
