You may call it mitigation if it does anything at all to redress the situation. The problem, those trillions are being spent for zero effect at all. Thats right, that money could be flushed the toilet and the result would be even better as it would energy systems intact and also it would not saddle us with a mountain of industrial ruins to decommission which will cost us another mountain of money. Climate Change is a natural phenomenon – a whiff of 0,04% of a gas thats vital for the survival of all life has zero discernable impact on it. But building those thousands of windmills in the northern hemisphere changes wind patterns which changes the arctic climate as streams are disrupted. Its entropy – stupid.
