Is it really a bad week for big oil, or just a wake-up call – a desperate attempt by activists to occupy the headline. Because they are not going to enjoy the attention for long in today’s nanosecond world. But they will have another bout of attention they will enjoy much less. Because companies, shareholders, and some politicians have been made aware of their works and will find remedies. This all for some cheap headlines? They won a small battle, but their war effort is failing.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
