A reply to hate mail

Anthony is a famous man – I am not. So he gets a lot more of the hate mail. But on occasion, I get some too. There was a time when I still tried to respond with facts and in a reasoned manner. I cannot remember when that has ever brought anything positive. People who are living less by facts but more by narratives have no interest in what is real or not. All they want is to shoot their load, they want to get rid of their pent-up frustrations and whoever is on the receiving end is nothing but a projection surface. They feed off your desperate attempts to bring them back to the reasoned crowd. Don’t feed them. You won’t succeed and give them the fuel to spread their poison even further. Just cut them out.

People send me stuff. I often get hate mail, but this one was so irrational and feckless, I decided that I’d have to respond. Usually I ignore these, but this one offered an opportunity for…

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
