Having grown up in the shadow of the Iron Curtain, I did not need any convincing that communism is an evil system. And yet, the younger me was a lot more idealistic than my older self. I dreamed of a world where certain principles such as freedom and self-determination would be uniformly realized. I thought that all countries need to be organized democratically along a certain path. I espoused many ideas that today, I honestly find silly. We all make a similar journey, age mellows us. But when we were younger, we did not force the world to espouse our views.

The Aussie federal government owned ABC thinks climate extremists are just trying to show us the disruption climate chaos will bring.
