Activist investor to stake $1B on changing shale operations
I think shale is where the dotcom world was in 2000. The bad actors must die, the bad meat must be eaten away by new players, new procedures and a lot of reason and hard economics as much in shale has thrived on insanity. In 2000 it looked like the online business would never recover as there was so much dead flesh. Look at it today. It has outgrown everything there was to outgrow. So will shale eventually.
