After failure in New York, we must reshape the politics of climate change
Here is what the activists think. They expected New York to result in massive action in all developed countries. China has firmly told them that they are not welcome and they just crouched. They think that a large majority of people all over the planet wants radical climate action and that its evil politicians holding them back. But if this is the case, why are not green parties in power everywhere? The truth is, a majority of people can smell the rat and don’t give a damn about what happens in NY, or next year in Glasgow. The elites freak out and thats is mistaken for the people. But the people have lives to live, children to feed, rent to pay, jobs to perform in – they don’t care what some hypocritical jesetters want. And politicians know that radical action will lose them elections.
