When you have those contraptions on your roof, do you care who is responsible if your house burns to a crisp? I mean before it has done so. Does it matter or are you not more inclined to get rid of those hazards as soon as you can? Later, when damage has been done you still want to know who you can sue. Thats not going to be great for solars’ reputation – plus you still need to find a way how to plug those holes that the solar panel fitting company has made in your roof. Crazy, crazy …

CNBC: Amazon Rooftop Fires Prompted Solar Panel Shutdown

Last Year Amazon was forced to take all their solar panels offline, after the panels caused six separate fire and explosion incidents. Amazon blames third party installers for the problems.
