Amazon workers walk out in protest of company climate policies, return to office, job cuts

Bezos is no stranger to virtue signaling. He has gone to bed with the climate alarmist crowd and now he starts to feel how dealing with them can turn out for him. I have often said it – you can’t deal with extremists. You can’t have a deal with them or meet them halfway. You can’t expect any common sense from them. They cannot be argued with. They are maximalists. They make compromises just temporarily as milestones on the way to the maximalist objectives. And one of the richest men on earth is a natural target. You picked the wrong allies, Jeff.

Organized by Amazon Employees for Climate Justice, the worker walkout could include over 1,900 employees and was set to begin at 12 p.m. on May 31.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
