American Energy Independence Is a National Security Priority

Energy independence for the US is a political issue today. Most people have long forgotten that this option did not even exist realistically just about 20 years ago. The option was not created by politicians – no matter Democrat or Republican. It was created by US oil & gas entrepreneurs who were laughed upon as they believed in industrial fracking technology and did what needed to be done. Politics jumped on the bandwagon when it became clear that this was big and important. Without this option, there would be no industrial revival of the US, no new jobs, and no cheap and reliable energy, and the Democrats could not waste as much money as they do now on stupid policy.

The recent short-lived revolt in Russia highlights how instability in Vladimir Putin’s government could quickly spill over into chaos. Regardless of who ultimately maintains or assumes power in

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
