An old Ted Cruz tweet mocking California’s ‘failed energy policies’ resurfaces as storm leaves millions of Texans without power
This is certainly not funny and Texas politicians have quite a lot to respond to. Texas has always been hailed as a successful example of how to integrate wind energy. We may lay that confidently to rest now. That being said, Cruz’s tweet is still not incorrect as this mess is just normalcy and hits you at any time in California while in Texas it takes an extraordinary weather event. Texas has quite a lot to fix – and it will. Don’t hope for that happening in California any time soon.
