Every single ideological dictatorship jailed those who opposed them. It did not matter if the opponents were factual or not. Opposing the going narrative was enough to get locked away and far worse. The Green extremists have that in common with National Socialist Germany, Stalin’s Soviet Union, Mao’s China, Pol Pots Cambodia, and the Islamic State to name but a few. That should give us pause for thought, shouldn’t it? On the much more positive side the mere fact that they feel the need to voice those things rabidly on public TV shows us that they are desperate. They have peaked and from now on it’s downhill. Stolen valor will not be readily given up just because their scam has bombed.
