Apicorp sees more woes for Egyptian and Algerian LNG

The market is going to come back so don’t worry about them long term. But instead of handwringing and complaining about the cruel, cruel world, how about some market development. If I have something I cant sell or only sell for prices I deem insufficient, I will think very hard about who just outside my comfort zone might be interested in my stuff. And it just so happens that LNG has a pretty broad utilization spectrum if someone only put some brain to it. Egypt is a big user of diesel fuel -most of it is consumed in the narrow Nile valley by trucks transporting everything under the sun up and down the river. A few LNG fueling stations would work wonders and allow Egyptian truck drivers to flip over to LNG as a fuel. Imagine what that would do to the yellowish smog people in Cairo call air.
