Aramco rolls with the Covid punches
Aramco has an unenviable role. It must provide enough cash to finance the country and also reform itself for the future. That, however, might be easier than they assume. They are playing around with lots of green posturing projects when they could easily afford to wait out until the Climate Scráre has abated all by itself. Their most important oil buyers are in Asia and those mostly don’t care much about the Climate Scare anyhow – if not in words then at least in deeds. Oil will come back with a vengeance as one day we will all wake up and be cold. The most efficient oil producers will be well placed then. They have a stab at being in that club.
