Argentina updates regulations to promote natural gas mobility
Sure they want to push Natural gas as a fuel. They use a national resource instead of importing fuel, they create plenty of jobs instead of exporting money, they improve their ambient air as they reduce particles and nitrogen oxides in the air, and they create a value chain that will eventually spill over into neighboring countries. There is no downside – it just makes sense.
Argentina’s National Regulatory Entity of Natural Gas (Enargas) is developing new safety regulations and modernizing the monitoring and control mechanisms to promote the expansion of LNG consumption for heavy transport and CNG in public transport buses, SUVs and light-duty vehicles in general.
