That’s probably the biggest reason why I don’t think there is going to be a war between the US and Iran. The US does not really want war and I am sure that thee are frantic efforts by China and Japan to defuse the situation as their energy supplies would be at risk. There are other factors to play into the equation but this one is a biggie for me. The price rise has been on the moderate side. I remember times when such a situation would have sent oil prices beyond the hekaton. Show of strength for shale?
