My own country has astounding potential for hydropower and we really have a nice array of them in the Alps as well as adorning our extensive river system. This gives our politicians a nice free chip when they claim that we are so green. But I am not unhappy. Because of this subterfuge, we Austrians don’t go as deep as the Germans into this wind and solar monstrosity, which means that our energy system will be way more resilient than the systems of our neighbors when the crap hits the fan. As it will.

100% renewable, except when Tasmania’s politicians run down their hydro dams to critical low levels selling green electrons to the mainland, burn out the undersea inter-connector with excessi…

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
