Australia bucks the global trend, goes with natural gas over renewables

Reality has a very potent sting. Renewables are ineffective and almost unusable energy and they are not really clean. Coal has a very bad image that cannot be quickly mended but its cheap and very reliable. Methane is the best of both worlds. Cheap, reliable, fast to bring on, and cleaner than the dreaded windmills if one factors in emissions from production and mining. Australia has plenty of scars, it doing the realistic thing now. More will follow.

Australia's conservative government appears to be pivoting away from backing coal for future energy needs, but hasn't quite made it all the way to renewables, instead waylaying into natural gas.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
