Baden-Württemberg Government Announces Plans To Clear Cut State Forest, Build 1000 Turbines

If those people are so afraid of CO2 killing us all, then I really don’t get why cutting down forests that soak up CO2 from the air is a good idea. But in the green Shangrila, nothing must make sense as long as all the virtue checkmarks are being hit. It’s wind – check. It’s on the list of good energy sources – check. A ton of subsidies are ready – check. Never mind that building those things plus the CO2 from cutting the forest is likely going to cause more CO2 than can ever be saved.

The news came only a few days after the flood disaster in North Rhine Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, where it was quite obvious that a lack of flood plains was the main cause of the floods.…
