Battery Test Centre 8th & 9th Reports: Many Home Batteries Still Unreliable

So home batteries have amassibe failure rate which is why its better to stick with the big suppliers instead of going with small ones. Is that an encouraging statement. Wait, there ismore. They are still quite expensive. Compare that to a diesel generator. Your roof solar produces electricity when – well when it produces it. Littel heed for your needs. Your diesel genset produces the power whe you need it. Its storage solution is a diesel tank. What failure rate do those have. What you need to compare is the costs of diesel generation to a rooftop solar array together with the battery. You be the judge of it.

After reading the most recent battery test centre reports from Canberra, I'm doubling down on my advice to be careful what batteries you buy.
