Berlin faces battle over climate targets
Berlin could just do those things on its own without waiting for those recalcitrant partners in Europe to catch up to them. But wait, if they did so they will saddle their own economy with punishing costs and regulation that would likely drive even more business out of their own country. And give European neighbors an advantage. Unfair you say? How can something you do to yourself and the other exploits that be unfair? Stupid is who stupid does.
