Biden administration approved new oil drilling project, environmental organizations aren’t happy

There is nothing that can make them happy. Even if no new construction of anything ever again would happen, they would think long and hard about what they could be unhappy with. Existing construction would have to be flattened, people would have to revert to subsistence farming and all modern civilizational garb would have to disappear. But not for them. They want their latest iPhone, their Uber rides, their parties, and overpriced vegan buffets. This all will surely fall from the sky when there is no civilization anymore. Won’t it?

The $8 billion Willow Project is expected to contribute 260 million metric tons of carbon emissions in the next 30 years. Students and environmental organizations alike question the legislation by Biden.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
