I must admit that it took me very long until I lost all belief in anything any politician says. Actually, I fully expect them all to lie regardless of what. There is no inner conviction, no spine, no set of values. It’s all for sale no matter what political party a politician hails from. I am very much in favor of abolishing politicians from anything larger than the county level. Politics only (if ever) works on a very small level where the holders of office are still in touch with the voters. And even on this level, there is lots of stuff that makes you throw up in disgust. Anything higher than county should be one term only, with full transparency down to the last cent of what was spent after the year is out. But I am dreaming now.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
