Biden moves to ban more offshore drilling in final weeks in White House

Pure propaganda for the unsavory parts of his party. He can claim he did it knowing that Trump will immediately revoke it. The couple of days this will be in force just add to the insanity and help destroy any trust corporations might have in politics. And it will be used for propaganda on both sides. Dems will point out that they care about the environment even if they are not. Reps will say that they care about people. Let’s wait and see how deep that goes. In any case, there is a case to be made that certain domains should not be subject to decrees. This is a fundamental decision that should require congressional oversight. Not that I expect more sanity from Congress but phones and pens should be limited.
