Biden: Nord Stream 2 sanctions ‘counter-productive’ for European relations

Biden’s incoherent fits and hisses are counterproductive for relations with Europe. Well-managed relations are based on respect and on mutual understanding. I am not opposed to North Stream 2 at all as it would bring more gas into Europe but I also understand the position allies must carry their fair share of the burden and if they don’t, there will be bad blood. Hugs and kisses are no foreign policy.

U.S. President Joe Biden has waived sanctions against the company behind the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline as it could harm ties with Europe.
