As shale proves itself to be way more resilient than even some fans of this energy source would have thought, it also shows that its THE way out for Americas subsidizing some less than human-rights respecting regimes and countries and use this money to improve their own economy. COVID shows us that getting everything from far abroad makes a country brittle. Europe is in a thrall beholden to the green mafia and unable to do what needs to be done for prosperity to come back and Asia must digest a long period of rapid growth by adapting its structures to a modern word. Because what was gained can very quickly be lost as we know. We need America to push forward on a path of common sense instead of blind madness.
