Biden’s new moonshot: An offshore wind industry to rival Europe’s
One day quite a number of years ago I stumbled into a corrosion conference in Abu Dhabi. I happened to speak at a Naural gas event so I ran into those corrosion guys as we had shared recreational facilities. I knew squat about corrosion so those were some of the most interesting conversations I ever had. One of my personal conclusions was – corrosion is a monstrous issue in an offshore environment. Having things as ugly as those wind turbines is understandable – but an offshore environment makes short work of them.
