Blackout Refugees: Businesses Plan Summer Escape From Victoria’s Renewable Energy Chaos
I am on the last day of a week-long trip to South Africa. Try explaining the concept of load shedding to anyone and they will immediately laugh at you. Because coming from Europe I need to use my higher brain functions in order to grasp the reality of it. South Africans have this in their guts. They live with it every day and don’t need explanation. Some countries in Europe – first of them is Germany – will learn this too. The days of stable power – one of the hallmarks of German reliability – will be gone soon. Unstable power for a lot of money will be the new reality. And then we only have to wait until the majority population gives the green extremists and their political spine-shedders the boot.
