BP fleshes out net-zero pledge
I just wrote about the crazy new strategy of Shell but it’s not alone. BP seems to be even further down the road to hell. A hydrocarbon company that wants to go net-zero carbon is an oxymoron in itself. I think we see the slow demise of European Oil Majors. If in their stead we would get aggressive, lean, and mean new players, I would not mind. But considering how Europe is baked, thats not going to happen. rather, once the Majors are deep enough in the morass, taxpayer money will be expected to save them which means we are all on the hook for those follies.
