‘Calif. Dilemma: Fight Climate Change and Keep on the Lights’ (energy reality at E&E)

Many countries, regions, and states grapple with this right now and it will be extremely interesting to the rest of us how the bellwethers of the green movement fare. The smarter among us will learn a lesson by observation. California and New York do that for the US, and Germany does it for Europe. Sadly, those countries/states will take damage that will take decades to repair if ever. And their inhabitants will flee them for places where energy still functions and the economies are not so badly scarred. And they will take their rotten beliefs with them. We must not let them.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
