The real question is: Can the West ditch climate tech made by slaves and by wasting the Chinese countryside and still pretend its net-zero fantasies are economically survivable? China’s stuff is cheaper than those made in Europe and the US. But it’s still massively expensive. The story of cheap renewables is faltering even with the Chinawares. Without them, it becomes a Black Hole that will expand so fast that people will eventually have to admit they have a killer at their hands. A killer of our future – a future that’s worth living that is. People will react accordingly and that makes the Green blob nervous.
