Chariot initiates onshore drilling in Morocco with spudding of new well

Could that be a game-changer? Morocco is an energy importer. Imagine this and more like this could liberate the country from the shackles of imports. It would free up a lot of import capacity. It would put a question mark on economically questionable projects such as the 11-country pipeline from Nigeria to Morocco. There are the other 10 countries you say. That’s true but some of them have budding gas exploration projects on their own. And they might soon be in the same position plus Morocco has always been one of the more promising markets en route. Nigeria, you are better with LNG.

The company, serving as operator with a 75% stake alongside ONHYM at 25%, has initiated drilling at the Gaufrette prospect with the spudding of the RZK-1 well.
