China Begins Ban of Rare Earth Minerals to the US

Thats a good thing. Why? Doesn’t it make things more expensive for all of us? Yes, it does. But it also puts a mirror before our faces. We will have to look at things a little more as they are in the real world. Mining rare Earths is expensive. Not because those Earths are rare but rather because the mining process is very destructive and responsibly doing that is expensive. Countries like China who don’t give two craps about the environment make that a lot cheaper for us. They destroy entire regions but we don’t care and they certainly don’t as long as the bank accounts of decision-makers fill up. Time to show our alarmist story pushers that their stuff is destructive.

The move comes a day after the Biden administration expanded curbs on the sale of advanced American technology to China.
