China Cracks Down on Private Refiners
Chinas economic figures are highly manicured. And they have been so. In the current state of geopolitics, the CCP cannot afford to let the world know how precarious its situation really is. This means that it needs to rein in all variables outside its direct control must be brought under control if it’s only for control’s sake. This is pure speculation of course.
