China ‘Firmly Opposed’ to US Sanctions on Russia-Linked Entities

China thumps its fists onto the table again. Wagging a finger would have caused a frenzy among Western policymakers just a few years ago but today, fist-thumping does not make a ruckus anymore. An unmistakable sign of how far China has fallen. China is not the manufacturer of the world anymore. Other nations have eaten into China’s cheap manufacturing empire and China has not managed to build a service-oriented economy yet. The question is if it ever will. Because a service sector needs creative minds and those don’t thrive in a one-party autocracy. Besides, globalism is over and that was the one lifeline China ever had.
