China Oil Reserves Close to Capacity
I always had a weird feeling about those Chinese oil storage sites. They sprout like mushrooms and part of that is certainly explained that China seeks to buy as much as they can while prices are low. But prices are not so low now. Also, I understand that China wants a strategic reserve considering how vulnerable import routes can be. Bu one more creepy idea always makes it to the top of my mind. What if China officially imported much less oil? Would analysts start to question those growth figures a little harder? Just a thought.
