China lies – surprise, surprise. China is certainly the biggest actor using deceit and lies on an industrial scale to achieve its ends and dupe not only the West but also its own population. Many countries do that and let’s be honest, we do it as well if we can get away with it. But I don’t blame those countries. I don’t blame the liars. They use what’s being thrown at them. The world wants those lies, and the world will do a lot to prevent those lies from blowing up in their faces as once you have bought the lie, distangling yourself just hurts too much. China lies, we want to be lied to. Too much is at stake for us.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
