It would be good for the world if China finally pulled the plug on the Western World and also if they kept it pulled for a long while. Most people live in a dreamworld and they will go to great lengths to prevent this dreamworld from collapsing onto them. Seeing reality for what it is is very scary, it’s also very arduous. Imagine that you must erect your system of values and the boundaries of what you take in and what you reject must be not only erected but defended by you against everyone and anything every single day. Most people are scared of holding a 2-minute formal speech. Anything beyond that is a horror movie to them.
