This shows us that planned economies cannot react in time to developments on the market. Has China missed the news that cash is scarcer in the West now? Have they not understood yet that subsidies for EV’s are going away as there will have to be choices made to either virtue signal or keep the population from freaking out? Yes, Joe gives them an uplift as they believe that he can steer the biggest market on Earth towards spending themselves blind on China wares. But not even Joe won’t escape the love to bring industries back to where they are needed.
