China’s coal boom accelerates as Beijing strengthens energy security

It’s really about time for the climate protester folks to move over to China and do some gluing to streets and buildings there and don’t forget the cans with tomato soup. Not only is China the biggest coal consumer on the planet, but it consumes more of it every day than the entire rest of the planet combined. Yes, more than half of the coal goes to China and is combusted there. I have doubts about China using the latest in exhaust air filtering technology for every single plant. I would suppose that plants with any filters will be rather rare. China is either not on the same planet or all green-tinted politicians turn a blind eye willfully.
