China’s Gas Demand Is a Bigger Worry for Europe Than Russia Cutoff

Indeed it is as the lack of demand for energy in Europe paints a very grim picture of Europe’s industrial prospects. Of course, politicians can erect trade barriers to force manufacturers to produce for their own market at home but that will just fuel the flames of discontent as prices for everything will soar even further and people will have an even harder time making ends meet. We may have believed that an economy depends on indices, smart trading, on meetings of beautiful people talking aesthetically about the problems of the world. Europeans must relearn to put their nose to the grindstone, cut the crap, and cut back on expectations. And we must do what makes us better off rather than chasing idiotic dreams of an idealistic state of being thats more akin to tyranny.
