China’s NOCs take varying decarbonisation routes
I just try to imagine the face of the journalist writing this article when doing so. Because it’s utterly ridiculous to write about Chinas decarbonization while at the same time not only does China consume more than half the planetary coal production but it’s still growing as China builds coal mines, coal logistics, and coal power plants at breakneck speed. I don’t blame them – they need cheap and reliable energy. But even thinking the word decarbonization is ridiculous.
