China’s nuclear industry and high-speed trains are world class

China is not squeamish about nuclear and spends lots of state money on high tech toys. The good thing about nuclear is that the know-how they develop will transpire back to us when we are ready for nukes again in no time. Why? Because they want to sell them and make money. And they will be hard-pressed to make any money they can so they will hawk out the crown jewels. The door always swings both ways and that’s a good thing. Welcome to the real world.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
