Clean Energy Tax Credits Have Nothing to Do With Inflation

When this whole circus started decades ago, the money to pay for all the green stuff came from taxes. It was rather little so no big financial book cooking was required. But the green money gobbler grew into a monster and soon money needed to be sourced from somewhere else. Money printing is a logical conclusion for those who throw money into the wind. Mature economies can coast for a long time printing ungodly amounts of cash but not forever. One day, the inflation snake is going to start biting. Of course, greenery was not the only culprit for inflation but it’s a big one. You pay for the stuff you cannot afford either instantly in loss of cash or later in loss of purchase power. the second one always looks easier to politicians as they will always blame something else.
