Climate Change Brings a Flood of Hyperbole

I am just a bit more than 50 years old and I have already lived through a couple of Earth-ending scares. I grew up with the specter of nuclear annihilation, we had Tchernobly blow up on us confining us to home for weeks on end. Sour rain was supposed to have killed all forests, the ozone hole was supposed to have wreaked havoc among the living and we are all supposed to be frozen solid in a new Ice age. Not to mention the Millennium Bug. I will wait for this one to blow over as all the others did.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
