Climate-change confessions of an energy reporter
Let’s get the message from the author straight. He confesses that he does not live by his own moral standards but that’s OK as he trusts that government will come and take away our freedoms and impose a new, humbler reality on us. Until that happens he lives just as big as he always lived but still continues to feel smug about it. But I am sure he does not hope for a humbler reality. He hopes that the government will do something of which he does not know what it is that ensures that we are all in balance with nature but does not reduce our comfort of life. He does not say so but that’s what he hopes for. Like a little child that dreams of the fairy to come and grant wishes. I have no problems with kids dreaming, but adults exhibiting the same immature behavior just make me cringe.
