Climate Change Contributes to Another Year of Record Crop Production in India
No, it’s not Climate Change. It’s more CO2 in the air. Anyone who paid attention in school knows that CO2 is plant food. They also know that it’s a trace element in the atmosphere so even minute changes in concentration make a huge impact. In fact, we know that the Cambrian explosion of life happened when CO2 was in the multiple thousands of ppm. Now we are at a paltry little over 400ppm. When it gets really cold the next couple of years, we will need every single ppm of CO2 in the air as the cold won’t be good for plant growth.
