Climate Change in the Early Holocene
Most people ignore the timelines involved in evolution – that includes the evolution of the universe as well as the evolution of humans and culture. Humans roamed the plains of Africa for more than a million years before they moved out into other realms. Homo Sapiens was a stone-age hunter-gatherer 150 times longer than the entire time from the advent of the Roman Empire to us. Without global warming giving the last ice age a pause, we would most likely still be hunter-gatherers. Warm climate allows all life to thrive – cold climate kills.
