Climate change will be here long after the war, but the leadership is neglecting it

I am sure Israelis will be very open-minded towards this. One of the problems imaginary problems will always have is that as soon as real problems burst into our lives and mess them up, the pink unicorns all go away and people want to eat, be warm, and not be shot at. But there also is not much of a stomach for a sensible climate debate in Israel as those voices would ideally have to be flushed out, confronted with reality, and made to eat chalk. But that does not happen in any country on Earth at scale and outside the fringes so what do we expect from Israel? That being said, things are changing fast everywhere.
