Climate discussed for 20 minutes in 3-hour-long Macron-Le Pen debate

Just imagine France leaving the Paris Agreement. It would do no more than Trump’s retreat from the Paris Agreement but the marketing effect would be rather massive. Also, this is a different time. People are hurting and are asking questions. They no longer take Climate Change as a given and question the scientific basis. That is a pool of voters – a big one and it’s growing. That’s why substantial political parties are jumping on it. Whatever happens at and after the elections, the issue is not going away. In 2020 I predicted that Climate Change will peak in 2022. I guess I hit it quite accurately.

During the three-hour-long debate between French presidential candidates Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, climate was discussed for just 20 minutes, despite being one of the most anticipated topics.
